An adsorbent with excellent filtration properties<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vegetable oil, used cooking fat and recycled animal fat that are used as the basis for the production of biodiesel contain soaps\/phospholipids, glycerol and trace metals. To remove this contamination, synthetic silica gels or magnesium silicate are often added during the filtration process. Because these products are good adsorbents, but poor filter aids, the filter quickly gets plugged up. That is why a filter aid is often used to keep the filter \u201copen\u201d.<\/p>\n
