Excellent filter aid for beer breweries<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perlite is a volcanic lava rock, based on aluminum silicate. Due to the high water content in the rock, the perlite expands to up to twenty times its original volume when heated.\u00a0Due to this heating process and the subsequent grinding process, a white powder occurs, which is chemically inert. Characteristic to perlite is the unique open structure, high porosity and the low bulk weight. These characteristics make perlite an excellent choice as a filter aid in beer breweries.
